Diaphragm valve can be operated remotely by a pneumatic head or manually by a handle. It is very suitable for the control of pipeline fluid and on / off task. It is widely used in health grade wine making, dairy products, beverage and other food industries, as well as aseptic conditions.
The valve can be operated manually or pneumatically. The sanitary diaphragm valve can also be controlled by controller and solenoid valve.
The relationship between the valve body and the pressure plate prevents the extrusion of the diaphragm.
When the valve is closed, the pressure pad supporting the diaphragm moves towards the sealing surface on the valve body. As the pressure plate moves, the diaphragm bends and is forced toward the seat area in the center of the body, thus closing the flow path to the body.
